In order to make this typography portrait of John Adams I had to do the following. First I found a picture of John Adams as a boy and saved it to my folder then opened it on Fireworks. Then I made a layer for the picture itself. I opened a word document and found lots and lots of words and various quotes to described him. He was the second president of the United States and his face is one the 500 dollar bill. I opened new layers for each sentence or word that I did for him so I could be organized and it makes it easier to correct or find things. To add these words I chose a text box, typed the words inside, adjusted my font size and boldness, then pressed Ctrl+Shift+P then pressed Ctrl+Shift+G. By clicking these I converted the words and then ungrouped them, so that each letter was an individual. Afterwords I placed each letter where I wanted it to be on his face then adjusted the color to be the same color as his face. This takes time and effort but it all pays off.
