Skylar's Butterfly

First I made one layer with a square turned it purple, made a second layer, turned that blue, made a third and turned it turquoise. Then I mad three stems with a green pencil, and added stars at the top. To make my stars I selected the star option moved the points around and changed the colors. I pressed ctrl+alt to multiply the stars and put about 10 on each stem. I repeated this again except this time I put them else where and changed the size with the skew tool. I did the same exact thing to make the sun except I made the stroke thicker and yellow. to make the butterfly I made two circles, moved the points around and put an outer bevel on it. Next I added another circle to the middle with the same effects. Then I put alien fluid slaptters in the corners, doughnuts in the middle, and top and bottom corners. Next I placed Two black swirls at the top to represent the antenna. Each one of these separate objects had there own layer.

Skylar's Spot Colors

Original Above
In order to make this image look the way it looks I had to do the following. I saved this picture with all the colors off google on to my file, then I opened them on FireWorks. I used my polygon lasso tool to outline the middle pink flower. I pressed Ctrl+Shift+I(selects the outside) and went to command, then creative, then sepia tones.
Original Below
For this project, we were told to make one landscape picture. I chose one of  the most beautiful ones I could find. In order to make this I had to used both my lasso tool to make one big circle glob around my water. Next I pressed Ctrl+Shift+I to select whats around my circle rather than whats inside. I changed my selected area to a sepia tone. Once I was done with that I grabbed  my wand tool to select every area other than the blue water then changing them to sepia tone. Now that's how I used my tools to create this image.

Original Below
This image was rather easy but beautiful to make. First I placed the original on my canvas, then used my lasso tool to select around pink book. Next I pressed Ctrl+Shift+I to select outside of the book and chose a sepia tone. Then I went in with the wand tool and selected all the colors other then pink and converted them to a sepia tone(which didn't make much of a difference).

In order to do this, I used the lasso tool to circle the tree, made the backround sepia tone. After that I Went in my tree with my wand tool and try to select everything but the leaves and change it to a sepia color.

Skylar Zelenko's Alphabet/Font

Zelenko Font

In order to make this font, I made a canvas 8"x10" with a resolution of 200. I made 26 layers and named one by one Aa, Bb, Cc, Ect. My starting font was "Aharoni" until I changed each of the letters to more of a definition font. I selected my "Skew Tool(Q)" and moved around my points to make it the way it looks. In able to make each uppercase letter with its lower case letter I pressed "Ctrl+G". For my stroke I selected "Viscous Alien Paint" and put a inner bevelment on each letter. I sized each letter to fit my canvas and typed the name of my font at the bottom with my font. Zelenko.

Skylar Zelenko's Cornucopia

In order to make my cornucopia I selected a 1000x1000 canvas with the resolution set to 200. Then I set my background to a pumpkin orange. If you look in my cornucopia there are various fruits and vegetable like corn, pumpkin, squash, grapes, apples, tomatoes, sweet peas, potatoes, garlic, etc. For each one these items, I made a different layer and named each one by the contents. For example my first layer would be named basket, in which I would make my basket. If you notice each one of my vegetables and fruits have all started off with a circle, other then the leaves. In order to do this I had to move around the different points with my white arrow to adjust the item to the appropriate shape. To make mutiple fruits and vegetables, I pressed Ctrl+Alt while holding them, and it duplicated the object. I changed the fill for each of these with the appropriate color, and used the pencil tool to makes stems. I also I added some textures and patteren, which you will see if you look closely at the corn or the tomato tops. To make my basket I added circles and made them get smaller behind each other. For my leaves I added stars, while moving around the points it began to look like a leave. I changed each of the leaves sizes and colors to give it fall spirit. Then I pressed Crtl+Alt once again to duplicate the leaves. I also added two text boxes one in the lower right corner and one in the top right corner. I chose a font to fit with my Thanksgiving theme. Thankyou for reading my blog!

Skylar Zelenko color emotions

Hopeful
This emotion is hopeful. I chose this color because purple is a hopeful color for me. Its soft and pleasant. I made the image look like the sky because the sky is the limit and that gives me hope. In order to make this image I did the following. I made a 400x300 pixel template and set the resolution to 200. I chose a soft purple for my back round. Next for my first layer I placed stars with the stroke set to, "1-Pixel Hard" and my fill a dark purple. My second layer consisted of fatter stars filled with a very dark purple. Then I chose "Viscous Alien Paint" and made cloud like figures. For my third and final layer I selected my wand tool and made purple lines over my clouds to make a nice swerve effect.

Fear
My second emotion is fear. I chose this green  for fear because dark green reminds me of scarey things. This image represents to me a nice green field and a scarey green cloud engulfing the feild filling you with fear. In order to make this image I did the following. I made a 400x300 pixel template and set the resolution to 200. I chose a light green for the back round to make almost a green sky. My first layer I chose a green "Viscous Alien Paint" and made cloud. Then I chose a mint green for my rounded rectangle and placed it in the corner and set the stroke at dots. Then I chose alien splatter to fit in the corner.

Loathing
My third emotion is loathing. I chose pink for this emotion because I'm not to fond of it. This image reminds me of that really annoying girl in the school(any school) that always wears pink and chews pink bubble gum while talking to you. In order to make this image I did the following. I made a 400x300 pixel template and set the resolution to 200. I chose a hot pink for the back round to make kind of an annoying  feeling to play off of my pink scratches which represent anger so they equal to a kind of loathing feeling. My first layer is pink lines, in which I chose my wand effect to make various different scratches and set my stroke to "1-Pixel Soft" and my fill to a purplish pink. My second layer consisted of the same thing excepts my fill was set to a light pink. Last but not least i Made my third layer pink "squares."

Depression

My fourth emotion is depression. I chose grey for this emotion because its more of a gloomy color. this image is of a grey night, with a scarey broken bridge and dark clouds filling the sky. Nights like this often make me feel depressed. In order to make this image I did the following. I made a 400x300 pixel template and set the resolution to 200. I chose a grey for my back round , then added three rounded rectangles and placed them towards the top, which was my first layer. Then I added paint splatter with the fill a light grey and spread it across the clouds. I chose a thin water color and made a ground with holes. I also selected my wand tool and made a bridge with the stroke set to crayon basic.

Amazement

My fourth emotion is amazement. I chose blue for this emotion because if you chose different types of blues and make them play off of each other they look exciting. I made a 400x300 pixel template and set the resolution to 200. I chose a blue for my back round, then for my first layer chose a star. I messed around with my handle bars to make the star change its shape. For the second layer I did the same as the first. For the fill of both of my stars I chose folds and moved the handle bars to give it that swirl effect.  Then for the  the side i chose confetti and made it more amazing.

Skylar's texture image

In order to make this texture image I did the following. I created a new document with the width set  to 500 and the height set to 300 with the resolution at 200. I set the background to black and added three donuts shapes. I set the donuts fill color to a lime green and outlined it to a bronze like purple. This image wasn't originally a JPEG, in order to do that I had to go to optimize on my right and click JPEG-better quality.
